Located in Niagara Falls Canada, close to the base of Clifton Hill tourist area and north end of Queen Victoria Park, is the entry for this exciting thrill-ride! Your steamship departs from the Niagara Cruise Plaza, which is set into the gorge wall with all buildings below the ground level. You will descend to the docks at the river's edge in one of 4 high speed elevators.
The Niagara Cruise is a legendary 30 minute boat ride taking you up close and personal with the mighty Canadian Horseshoe Falls.
Your boat ride will depart from the Canadian side of the Niagara River just opposite the American Falls.
The powerful diesel engines will power the world famous boat alongside the American Falls on its way up the river to the very basin of the magnificent Horseshoe Falls.
Rain slickers are provided as you may get wet! You can keep the recyclable souvenir raincoat as a reminder of your Niagara Falls adventure!
Feel the power and hear the roar of the most powerful waterfall in the world. You are provided with waterproof ponchos to keep you and your electronic gear (cameras etc) warm and dry on your 30 minute scenic adventure.

Niagara Falls - Niagara Cruise:
The admission cost for the half-hour boat ride is included in your all day Niagara Parks day tour. Niagara Cruise 2012 tickets are a $20 value on their own. There are 2 passenger boats, the Maids VI and VII with departures every 15 minutes. The boats are 80 feet long and carry 600 passengers. The powerful 350 horsepower engines carry you to the base of the Horseshoe falls, against the powerful current.
After the tour, you enter the Niagara Cruise Plaza - which offers gift shops, a welcome center and quick serve food outlets. In the summer, visit the two-level outdoor marketplace with live daily entertainment.
When you finish your boat tour, you can enjoy the attractions, shopping and dining - all within walking distance of the falls.
Niagara Cruise gets you the closest to both American and Canadian Horseshoe Falls.
Niagara Cruise boats are currently operated by the Niagara Cruise Steamboat Co. and the boat trip has a 165-year history. As of spring 2014, the boat may be operated by a new company, Hornblower Canada Company.
